How to Report a Misidentified Lens Name

In certain rare situations FoCal cannot fully determine the lens name and may misidentify the name of the attached lens or may fail to include information about tele-converters.

We’ve included a mechanism within FoCal, allowing users to report misidentified lens names.

Connect camera and lens to FoCal and look under Camera > Status menu.

Where the lens is not correctly identified click “Incorrect Lens Name?” you will be taken to the FoCal website to enter an updated lens name.

FoCal lens definitions are updated periodically, please ensure entered lens name is as close as possible to that shown within lens documentation provided by the manufacturer.
