We’re delighted to announce the release of Reikan FoCal 1.9.2 for Windows and Mac, bringing Nikon D610 support and a fix to address Gatekeeper security on OS X.
Nikon D610 Support
The key feature of FoCal 1.9.2 is the addition of support for the Nikon D610.
We have also fixed the following issue:
- Fixed an issue where Gatekeeper on OS X Mavericks would warn that FoCal was not from a trusted developer and would not allow the application to run (details here).
The implementation of the Nikon D610 has been completed using documentation from Nikon. If you notice any issues when using FoCal with the D610, please let us know.
Gatekeeper Issue fix
The Gatekeeper issue on OS X manifested itself as one of the following (or very similar) messages (as described in this post):
Our original solution was to change the security settings in the Preferences for your computer, but with the new fix in place you should not see any of these messages and FoCal should run without issue.

Installing on OS X (IMPORTANT!)
FoCal for Mac uses the Mono framework and this must be installed before using FoCal. Please see this post for complete information on how to ensure your Mac is set up correctly to run FoCal. If you do not follow these instructions, FoCal will NOT operate correctly!
