FoCal 1.8 will be released on Monday for both Windows and Mac – this will be a general availability release and represents the first non-beta release for Mac computers.
Those of you who have used the FoCal 1.8 Release Candidate won’t notice a huge difference, but we’ve made the following changes:
- – Fixed an issue where the Canon 6D sometimes didn’t change AF Microadjustment and therefore gave inconsistent result warnings.
- – Fixed several minor user interface bugs
We’ve also worked extensively with Windows 8 and are happy to say that FoCal 1.8 will work with Windows 8 too.
Thanks to everyone for your patience and feedback during the long Mac development process and we hope you like the released version!
It doesn’t stop here – the planning for FoCal 1.9 is already well underway and will include stability and performance improvements as well as a couple of really exciting new features, but more about that later…
